_Please_ at least try to get the facts right, OK?
"Then there is the history of the ownership of Unix. AT&T invented the operating system, which it sold to Novell, which in turn sold it to SCO in 1995."
No, Novell sold its licensing business and development rights to the /Santa/ /Cruz/ /Operation/ in 1995. They, in turn, sold them to Caldera -- which much later changed its name to "The SCO Group." The FUD factory of today is _not_ the company which bought a licensing business from Novell.
This is all public record and very well covered, not least in IBM's court filings. Please at least try to get the basics right, OK? - Posted by: Yagotta B. Kidding Posted on: 03/11/04 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
