So finally we have someone in this discussion who knows what is necessary to survive. You'll have to work in another field. Because much of IT will evolve (yes Evolve not devolve) into the peoplefree "dark" data centers that HP and IBM services are now pushing.

I was amused by your, "Globalization is all well and good as long as it means the rise of the lower classes overseas rather than the great drag down of the middle classes in the US."

Dat's alright if the darkies can raise demselves up by the bootstraps, jus don b thinking you can do high tek jobs, cause dem's our jobs here in the USA!!!

This kind of elitist, xenophobic condescension is indicative of the American Techie psyche. They just can't believe the world is not going to play by their analog "USA" Rules.
