Here you go...
1) The economy:
"It's no secret why the market is behaving the way it is," said Jay Suskind, director of trading at Ryan, Beck & Co. "It's the strength of the economy and the direction of interest rates."
From here:

Like I said, rate increases being used to prevent the economy from growing too fast. Where have you been for the past year? Furthermore...it was the W tax cuts that spurred the economy on over the past few years, along with low interest rates that led to a torrid housing market. And employment has picked up at moderate, but steady rates over the last few years.
2) Yes, it was the aftermath of Clinton's Democratic term. Greenspan waited too long to raise rates, then had to embark on a long streak of raising them regularly...barely kept the lid on the recession. Which, did, by the way, start before Bush was elected. You do know that the dot-com bubble burst before the election. And it preceded Enron. It was recent enough and well-documented enough that you can find all the detail you want if you're honest enough to google it and read it.
3) It's not supply-side economics. It's demand-side. Consumers have more money to spend. Investors are able to keep more of their dividends - some of which will get spent. Deeper pockets means more spending...or "demand".

And yes, we still *do* need more tax cuts. Taxes are far higher than any citizen ought to pay. Our forebears would die before paying 40% of their income to taxes. And most of it goes to useless programs or waste. Tax cuts are not about "propping up" the economy. They're about giving people back what's theirs. Clear to see who's towing the party line.
