If Solaris became more popular with Office available and if Solaris came only with Sun hardware, then you'd be right.

I'm not sure what Microsoft could ask in return to make up for the Windows sales lost as a result of the Office port, or even what the loss would be. But Microsoft is concerned about revenues. As Sun should be.

I'm surprised you'd recommend a course of action without specifying how Sun would make money. Must have been too short a time available for the post...
