And adding just as many in India:
http://www.crn-india.com/breakingnews/stories/64523.html

Oh boy.

"The shortage of skilled IT professionals is one of the most pressing issues in the IT industry and in businesses all around the world and the demand for IT professionals with up-to-date skills, far exceeds the current and projected supply.

Shortage? Is SUN doing America a favor by giving 5,000 Americans the push?!

Through this alliance, NIIT will have access to the latest Sun technologies, tools, technical resources and curricula on the Java and Solaris platforms. Sun will enable NIIT to offer a range of customized programs to a broad spectrum of students through NIIT's widespread network of IT education centers. The initial launch will focus on the Sun Java platform while Solaris will be addressed later this year.

Then why not train the American workers?

Something stinks.

What a joke.

Companies say Americans don't want to be educated. Yet prices continue to skyrocket and then we hear about THIS.

Get it straight: It's not about indolence. It's about greed and wilfully abandoning one's own country. We're at the mercy of China for any number of reasons right now and the way we're losing programming and engineering, we're putting India in the same position too. Whatever happened to "peace through strength" and all of these other aphorisms our current Administration praises? Something is not adding up.

May India turn on the US, just like how China is going to. sad What's left to say when you're ditching your own for someone else? sad And I fear they are going to at some point. Dollars see no borders, but the rest of the world does and likely always will... And when America is isolated, how will the American citizens be made scapegoats (again) at that point?!! (they'll eventually run out of excuses...)
