natural cycles
Yes they are already taking into account any cycles (which take millenia to occur, instead of decades.)

The "suns rays are blocked out" is done with clouds and they are -in- -our- -atmosphere-. Unless the radiation is reflected (carbon tends to absorb energy) that energy ADDS to the heat.

That is the danger!!!!!!!!

The solar energy is caught in the high carbon atmosphere making the temperatures higher.
Since the heating is growing faster than any cooling effects a nett rise in temperature occurs.

Where can we put the thermal energy then?
Your air-conditioner doesn't go out to space, and there isn't any air flow to take away the heat even if it did.
So the heating just skyrockets out of control.

The more carbon and clouds, the thicker and more absorbant the thermal blanket is. And it's really hard to cool down if you're wearing a lot of blankets!
