Silent Spring
Perhaps you should get your noses out of the computer manuals and read Rachel Carson's Silent Spring--written before all of you were probably born. She was wise beyond her years. Read it and look around and remember Love Canal, polluted Lake Erie, tuna that is so contaminated with mercury even the government warns you not to eat it more than once a week. Sadly, most of you are only concerned with today but tomorrow will catch up with you and you will wish you had walked more, drove your hummer less and did something of value in your lifetime beside contaminate our once blue planet.
