Many projects?
I don't know of any MS projects that are running late. Vista is on a timeline and due out in January. Office will be out next year, no definitive date yet.

The 50 billion isn't all profit, its to go to the operations at Microsoft to pay for employees, benefits, R&D, advertising. Its not like they just have the 50bil to hand out in good will.
