Too bad Microsoft can't lose in this matter
The only person who does lose would be the customer, more importantly, the customer paying for Software Assurance.

Do you think that Microsoft would lose if they don't ship Windows Vista. People would just continue buying Windows XP until something better would come along. Linux doesn't have anything the customer wants yet and Mac is still too expensive.

I hope and pray that Mac OS does the much desired damage that I have wanted done to Microsoft for years. If not, darn. Not the first time I have been disappointed by a software solution.
