ISP snooping plans take backseat

I want to laugh: >>>Jeff Lungren, communications director for the House Judiciary Committee, said an aide had drafted the proposed bill without Sensenbrenner's direct involvement. The loose translation of that for me means that Sensenbrenner didn't anticipate the backlash he would get from this and he needed to backtrack but had to come up with an excuse as to why he was first. To me it is a mive typical of most politicians. Find someone else to blame.

Meaning now that he was seen in a bad light for some reason and it wasn't as popular as he thought it would be he doesn't want to touch it with a ten foot pole. Because his agenda is overcrowded? What agenda? When is his next teetime is?
