The US college system is one of the best in the world. It is our free/private/religious primary and secondary schools that stink.

The thing is the US has tons of highly educated workers. The problem we have right now is that most of these workers do not have degrees in science, engineering, or math. They all have business/law degrees, as that is where the money is.

The US taxes on cooperations isn't as high as we are to believe in the press. In fact 17 of the 20 largest US corps pay 0 in taxes.

As far as over-regulated... this may be partially true with regards to environmental regulations... however without these regulations everyone in the US would be dead or dying due to all the toxic materials dumped into our streams and in our air.

Labor cost and the fact that if you bribe officials in these foreign countries they will let you dump your toxic waste right into the river, the same river that people drink and bathe in downstream from the factory, is why there is no manufacturing in the US.
