Your computer may be a pain in the neck
Doing a core workout is supposed to strengthen the back and spine and prevent/correct posture issues by aligning the spine. Oddly enough I had the "My Daily Yoga" site bookmarked previously.

As for the break reminder software, I use one from Chequers Software called "Break Reminder". http://cheqsoft.com The new version I believe is a trial version, but if you can find an older version (I use version 3.7.x) it is free for private use.
