A fool's errand
That would be Declan, not Mr. Ashcroft.

Heaven forbid the administration should prove responsive to the electorate, DURING AN ELECTION YEAR! Surprises abound in a democratic republic I guess.

So Declan, apart from Mr. Ashcroft's steamroller of sin control just what is your problem with the man? Not enough kiddie porn out there Declan? You're afraid the broom that cleans it up will also inadvertently sweep up, what was it? Oh yes, that esteemed publication called The Philly Gay News. Well if they're concerned they'll be confused with porn purveyors, maybe they should rethink their business model. This freedom of smut business was always a bit too much mainstream recently anyway. It should be free, mind you, but stuck in a dark corner someplace. Well, we are talking about the Gay News after all happy

Not to worry Declan, you're not alone. It seems fellow soldiers-in-arms posting here can match your hyperbole. I've got one clown comparing Ashcroft, are you ready, to the taliban! That's right, a devout Christian is apparently the same thing as an imam. Except they're too cowardly to critcize imams of course. Christians are far less likely to perform cultish decapitations.

I've got another joker named "emartin" on here who desperately aches for a pancreatic malady to befall Mr. Ashcroft. CLASSY.

You are the company you keep Declan, and to some extent the company that is sympathetic to you. But don't misunderstand, your rhetorical excesses are good news for people supporting President Bush. My advice would be to stop scratching your heads in November or you won't have a scalp left.
