RFID tags in money
---Why does the new $20 have an RFID tag?---

While your other concerns may be valid, this one has been pretty
well debunked. The claim comes from a conspiracy theory
website, where the author noted that stacked $20 bills in a
microwave all "exploded" in the same area. In fact, the same
thing happens if you take a stack of copy paper and microwave
it. A central point in the stack heats and eventually ignites and
burns up and down the stack from that point.
