M$ is the answer
Think about it... what a great incidental use for DRM and the Secure Computing Initiative! The public can scream about all the spam and viruses that are crippling their computers, Billy and Stevie can scream about that "terrorware" Linux, the Bush administration can scream about the proliferation of online porn... put the three together and PRESTO! Your computer becomes a tool of government/M$ control. They let you see what they want you to see, go where they want you to go, on an Internet built entirely on a M$ platform... while the American sheeple just sit back and let it happen.
