optical issues:
well not to downtrod of your parade, but once your get to the larger lenses used in HQ camaeras, you need much tigher controls and cleaner optical paths. i'm not saying that this technology can't be used for a regular sized digital camera, but it will probably have to be refined and mature before you can get clean images with a larger lens.

it is really neat though. i do wonder when and if they can refine the technology for a dSLR...
