You do realize....
...that pretty much all the "baby bells" have been re-aquired by themselves over the past 10 years, right? Instead of 1 HUGE monster that was heavily regulated constantly in the spotlight, you now have 3 (or 4) unregulated monsters with a few smaller monsters that all have monopolies on land lines in their areas.

We're still be bled dry, the names have just changed to hide the guilty.
