Groklaw - a tool against the NEW CORPORATE FASCISM of SCO

Clearly, companies like SCO constitute a threat to free speech.

They commit fraud and lie about the sponsorship of their activities, it is no wonder that they expect that others do the same.

The threat of the misuse of the legal system by well-funded corporations that do not believe in free speech and are willing to commit fraud in pursuit of their objectives poses a problem for the undertakings (such as GNU/Linux) of the not-for-profit sector.

What we need is a push for the criminal prosecution of SCO. There is legitimate governmental interest in items that are in the public domain and/or released under free lisenses, and government can and should prosecute those who commit actionable crimes in their attempt to stifle publicly available, not-for-profit undertakings, of which GNU/Linux is but one example.

Write to your congress person, your state's attorney general, etc.
