I'm not sure how it works in the USA, but here in Australia open or publicly stating lies that in any way defame someone's reputation, then one can sue for damages. If someone (no names) says publicly that PJ is paid to say what she says (the truth of course) then unless she equally publicly defends her integrity with a law suit, rumours will abound.

If certain persons were sued for say $100,000, then that could go towards funding Groklaw.

Wouldn't that be ironic? I can see the headlines: SCO funds Groklaw!

Note, SCO is here an acronym for Sorry Company Obituary, and any similarities with any company living or dead (or dying) is purely coincidental.

All I know is, I would!!
