Current republicans bear very little similarity ...

... to the republicans of old. The current crop don't really deserve the title. Did you know that it was the republicans, under Lincoln, who fought to eliminate slavery?

Where are those who love freedom now? They are not in the republican party -- there's simply no place left for us there.

The party of small government, individual responsibility, and fiscal conservancy has abandoned it's principles in favor of *power*.

It's sad; very sad.
