We are building a World Society
I had the fortune of catching a fellow on Air America who really put things together. His argument was that FDR established three great societies - the US, Germany and Japan by utilizing "liberal" economics, often characterized by a large Middle class. This was 80 years ago and his success is still a bitter pill for those believing in "conservative" economics.

The man says those 80 year olds still want demonstration societies for "conservative" economics - characterized by a small middle class and also characterized by populations that do not act as citizens.

Citizens get to determin what is owned by the citizens and what is owned by corporations.

In Alaska the citizens decided that all the oil in the state would be owned by the citizens and that is the way it is even today. We are deciding that information technology belongs to the citizens and not a company. Its the same meal deal.

Naturally those hoping that conservative economics can work (IE Ballmer) are appauled. But blame FDR. His success 80 years ago with these three societies is unquestionable. Success with the conservative economies of the current US and IRAQ is very very questionable.

Zoro.
