Really, the two interfaces are almost the same. Sure, if you are
familiar with MS Office, you will find it easier to navigate menus and in general do what you want with MS Office. But, after a couple of days using OpenOffice, you will forget all about it.

I am used to using OpenOffice, and if I am at a Windows box and forced to do anything with MS Office, it is clumsey for me since I don't know where to find things, navigate menus, etc.

The only issue here is familiarity.
