No, we're a pretty stupid species gauging from these idiotic posts that paving over entire desert regions (yeah, you want to do the environmental impact study on that, my friend?) and the tops of houses all across the country is an efficient solution to obtaining cheap and abundant energy.
Dream all you like, but you cannot dream away the 1 kiolwatt per square meter FACT. That's all the energy there is from solar.
