It's a stupid waste of time and resources. You work on the BEST way to get energy, not the most touchy-feely.
Nuclear power is unlimited for all intents and purposes (there are enough known Uranium and Thorium reserves on the planet to provide the entire electrical needs of the United States for a million years). Instead of pursuing Nuclear power, a tested, known, and usable technology, we chase after feel-good pipe dreams of low efficiency, expensive and environmentally harmful alternatives like Wind and Solar.
