Yes, please bring it back into the light
clearly OPEC is not a future solution for continued energy, and as a proponent of local solutions, solar is one of many alternatives that need extensive research, community support and locality enactment. It's not a viable everywhere for all things solution, but if added to building codes as at least a construction consider and farmed to unused swaths of land, it could reduce dependencies on hostile and/or limited resources, just as hydroelectric is good in only certain regions, or wind in others.

On alternatives, I'd like to see more talked up about biofuels, ocean wave generators, and reclaimation centers/plants. Green solutions are poised to rake in the green as we've burned too much black gold, IMO.
