I wouldn't consider myself to be anti-American at all but I am opposed to many of the policies of the current administration.

In the same way I was opposed to many of the policies of Silvio Belusconi, but this didn't make me anti-Italian (tempting as it might have been to start calling capuccino "freedom of the press coffee").

However, sometimes I get the impression that the current American administration tries to represent anyone who disagrees with their policies as "anti-American". A devious rhetorical trick.
