How long will Ballmer stay in his job?
Ballmer's plans don't convince many of my friends in Redmond. Their morale has fallen a lot in recent months. They complain about a lack of direction, apparently random re-orgs, and poor lobbying (eg how is it that relations with the European Commission are so bad? This is impacting plans for Vista). Increasingly I hear them identifying Ballmer with MSFT's downturn, and hoping that he will hand over to Ray Ozzie, so that the stock price can rise.
