...or the first killer app? (Takes quite an app to create the universe...)
I don't think there is anything wrong with the inevitable convergence of "Church" and technology. Tech is just a tool. I've seen very fine churches present the word of God accurately and appropriately both with and without a $500,000 system. I've also seen the message hopelessly geffickken by people on both ends of the tech spectrum.
Besides, the church that Jesus had (and has) in mind is not a 501c3 corporation. These organizations are no more inherently "holy" than Microsoft. There are likely a large number of M/S employees who are also Christians (not merely by virtue of being American, but actually following Christ), but that doesn't make M/S a Christian organization.
NO corporation is going to Heaven, and no person will go to Heaven by virtue of association with any corporation, 501c3 or otherwise.
(Except maybe for the Penguin Liberation Front...)
