Can't say I totaly agree there, nor do I totally disagree....
While I agree in many cercumstances Laissez-faire works when it
comes to government or Big Brother.

I have to say that some industried can not be regulated in that
fashion. Take medicine for instance. When you have a gun i.e.
your health, your parents health your childs health your partents
health pointed to your head you will do or pay anything
demanded. That is way too much power for any buisness entity
to hold sway over it's customers. In every case for Laissez-faire
to work "business" should be the paid servant not the master.
Business should NEVER be allowed to hold a gun to the
consumers head. And if it does it should pay a terrible
price...perhaps even be socialized. I do think that should be a
rare occurance indeed but the normal market controls such as
competition (does not exist between pharmacies) and the free
market (We simply do not have good and fair choices when our
lives or those of our loved ones are in the mix) and Consumer
choice (if your choice is illness or even death) It simply does not
work.

In industries where the consumer is made vassel to the desires
of buisness such industries must be strickty controled. If and
industry has that much power it is ripe for abuse as is currently
obvious in medicine and energy.
