Bait and switch explanation
WoW was advertised as the "casual friendly" MMORPG, you didn't have to cast aside your life to play and progress. But once you hit 60, the only way left to advance are the 20 and 40-man raids, which are, quite frankly, VERY tedious and mostly very dull (especially if you are playing a healer class, like Priest or Druid).

Blizzard keeps adding content that mostly requires you to group up with 19-39 other people to complete, leaving those who don't like raiding with no real way to advance their characters. The PvP/Honor system also requires you play 20+ hours a day 7 days a week to make much progress either...
