I agree, without your beloved trained personal, your company will not work, no matter how much you have invested in hardware, software, recovery plans, buildings, etc.

But I'm sure they already have a plan for it also: estimations of how many employees per department are the minimum required to survive, at which level you should call employees from other cities / states / countries (staff redundancy), minimal-staff plans (for example, to allow top managers or depat chiefs to start the recovery process on their own), etc.

But in the end, you should really care about your people; if you don't care about them, they won't care about your company after a disaster. You will end up with hundreds of employees who better care about they destroyed house than about your destroyed bussiness.
