- Any business in a bad zone
-
whether it be bad weather, bad earth, whatever, should have an emergency plan. An city and state down to locality should have a coordinated plan for its region. And people should have their own means of emergency preparedness as allowable by whatever state laws and restrictions might apply. To say to a business concern over something else isn't a fair concern to the business, people need to prepare for people, but business needs to secure its future as well in a revenue driven society, or the region doesn't bounce back.
Now onto my favorite rant, don't build in hostile territory. If you live in a bowl that floods, either level the bowl so it doesn't or don't build on it (expect not to get soaked), if you build on a mountain side discern, was it every a live volcano or just so Ice Age gutted structure, cause Mt St Helens wasn't a great place for a Ole Navy shop, . . a landfill doesn't make for a great future neighborhood (not if you don't won't to worry about that funny odor), and if you live in an alley of tornadoes, shouldn't your houses be built from the ground > down not up, or at least trailer sales banned in your area? - Posted by: Boot_Agnostic Posted on: 04/19/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
