Legal software on computers in China
I have lived in China for more than twelve years, have bought three windows computers and still use two of them. Have begged fro a legal copy of OS every time and was laughed to scorn, told I didn't need a legal copy. Made many inqueries because I was tired of fighting the update battle with MS. Asked all around. Finally last winter I found there was a MS software center in the city where I live! Went and bought winxp pro. The point is this, Microsoft is not doing its part in making legal software available in China. They cry about it, sob sob, me too, but they are not doing a reasonable marketing job in China. That's the truth.
