... because Red Hat sells Red Hat software.
I know I can't dissuade you from the view that Red Hat sells because of the high quality of its "services and support".
But, on branding, let me give you a common example, okay?!
A friend of mine had decided to purchase a brand name ibuprofen. I spoke without thinking, said that a generic would have half the price. She, of course, chose the brand name product. The extra she paid was part of an acceptable cost.
