Is Red Hat selling services...
... for all software? Or just the company's own products?

Do enterprise buyers usually purchase any variety of Linux? Or so they obtain a product with features the buyer considers more worthwhile than would be available from other distributions?

What Microsoft does (have OEMs service Windows, for example) or does not do (permit copying and sale of their code, for example) is not relevant to what Red Hat does. Except to provide a more effective business model for comparison, if you want to recognize that.
