what part are you missing Anton?
You don't have to buy the support to get the OS, you can get it yourself for free of charge(other than their RHES) because oracle does NOT come free. If you can support the software, then you're saving money. MS does not do this, they charge for the software, and chagre for the support(and their support lines are junk). You're nit picking here to see if you can persuade people to your side, and you're wrong in the way you're going about it. Now if RedHat sold software, you may have a point, because even if you don't purchase the support contract you can STILL receive the product, you just have to do it yourself.
