Not Sun (nor anyone, for that matter)
can stop companies like MS, IBM, Oracle, from continuing to grow. Even if Open Source companies (who seem to have a hard time sticking around except for those who hit it right on understanding what their customers want, like many successfull proprietary software companies have) became a viable option for the majority of end users, you know the afore mentioned companies would know how to make money off of opensource
