So it doesn't run on the M$ product?
That was my question.

>>Who wouldn't rather run FreeBSD on Windows than Linux? A person would be crazy to run it on Linux!<<

I take it you haven't tried VMware's ESX then.

The whole point of *not* running virtual machines on Windows is to make them run better, faster and with less overhead in the host OS. The reason *for* running them on Windows is to have device support on the host OS that isn't available in Linux even though the speed and memory overhead is larger. It's worth the cost if you can run the OS as a VM under Windows instead of having to buy a whole new machine or (EWWWW!) dual boot.

>>So the perfect solution is to run a Virtual Linux server on Mac OSX!<<

Yeah, you may want to join the beta program:

www.parallels.com/

Runs on OS X and supports Linux as a VM. Also supports FreeBSD, Solaris, OS/2 and eComstation. And one or two versions of Windows (OK they list 15 supported versions).

>>I'm going to patent that idea so noone else can think of it...<<

Not only are you a step or two behind the curve here you can't patent ideas or thinking would already be prohibited. (d^;)
