It's about the money
I use linux because I can afford it. I guess you can call me a zealot because I do not like the fact that if I want to watch video on some websights I have to buy xp just so I can run windows media 10. I have 98 and 2000 and I do not like being forced to buy xp just for a stupit websight (if I cannot use linux browsers to visit a websight then I do not visit those websights).

This does not just affect linux users but many loyal windows users that may not be able to afford to upgrade to a new operating system every time MS decides to stop supporting their older stuff.

It's all about the money (competition is just a sub catagory). Companies and people's opinions are based on how they can get more money from others.

This brings up the question: What is you condescending negative campain trying to promote? There is obviously big money in religious zealotry also or the big boys would not be spending so much time and money in open source.
