Very interesting...
Even if I'm blind on my left eye and have vision on my right eye, I really don't think I need the implant, because I don't think I have retina disease. The day I became blind on my left eye is and visually impaired on my right eye is when I was born.

I really want to drive a car (I do feel like I'm trying to beg the government to remove the law requirement that I must have a 20/20 acurity in order to drive, but the fear and limitation of not being able to drive, which the law won't let me because of my visual impairement, just crept me up) and be free from the public bus transportation (uuhhh...have to go by the bus schedule) and I don't want to wait for a cab to come to my house to take me where I want to go. About the bus schedule, since I have class from 9:00 to 12:00, I got in a bus on 7:15 AM, transfer to another bus to TCC by 7:40, and arrive at TCC by 8:00. I could use a cab but the advantage of using my TCC ID card when going in a bus outweighs a disadvantage that I can't use my TCC ID in a cab. For going home from TCC, when I get in a bus around 12:00, I get to C. K. Steel Plaza (where all buses meet there) and because the bus service doesn't operate between 12:40 to 1:10, I have to wait until the bus gets to the transfer plaza by 1:10 PM. Even if the bus to get back to my apartment gets there by 12:40, I won't be able to get in so the bus leaves (with no passenger onboard) by 12:40! I found it inconvienent because I wanted to go home and not having to sit through until 1:10. Sometimes, I got out of class by 11:20 or 11:30 AM, and I get to transfer plaza by 12:00! Do you know how long it is before 1:10? 1 hour and 10 minutes! Thus, I'd be bored sitting there doing nothing! plain Even if I listen to radio or read a book, I'll still be bored staying at transfer plaza, waiting for the bus!

Want to know who the type of person I am? "Get-in-the-car-and-off-you-go!" Get it? I mean...you don't have to let the limitation of having to go by bus schedule or call a cab get to you! As from my paragraph above, I want to be free and go whether I want to go! As for driving a car, paying for gas is okay, but with a rise of gas prices going up! Too much!

Well, enough of my discussion about an inability to travel by myself without bus/cab... Life is hard for me and I'm striving to get used to the transportation system...

I live in the US, by the way.
