Simonyi and Martha Stewart have long been rumored as more than friends

But lets get more to the point. No one at Microsoft will touch Simonyi's Word code and it has been so for several years. The new Office product is a complete rewrite because Simonyi-et-al did not write the code in a way that it could be supported for longer than 5 years. Is Simonyi a hero in is home country because of his talents in software engineering - or his wealth accumulation which is now being used to benefit european and not US economies?

If ever there was a reason to reject H1-B Simonyi is it. He owns a boat with some kind of a name that means tax cheat. I forget the story. But Paul Allen just fired his yacht's crew because of drugs which might have resulted in the vessel being confinscated. Martha, we pray for you.
