What if a different technique is used?
Like putting dozens of metatags in your HTML files with your competitors' trademarks in them?

Or using the old white-on-white invisible ink technique to put their names in the body of your pages?

Either of these techniques will be picked up by the spiders and you will have your site in the 'real' search results for your competetors' names.

You don't purchase keywords, either, and it will work on all of the search engines.

I wonder how infringement would be handled here - the names appear in the source code of your document but not on the page that visitors view...
