Is THAT the way America is going to work now?

If someone's worried about porn they get a filter and put it on the home computer. Then if you want to know how well its working, you find out through searching with the home computer, once the software is installed.
NOT by confiscating MILLIONS of records off of search sites.
They must be really getting on this porn thing though after all the companies they contacted for info....but the funny thing is WHEN did you hear they were cracking down on porn??? I didn't hear anything about it until Google made a stink. How about you?? I mean if your ratings are as low as Bush's are right now with the people of the USA, why not announce publicly about the big porn crack down? (If that's what it REALLY is.)

And now the $64 question, since search engines ONLY show what's out on the web, and have NO CONTROL over WHAT's out there...(in other words, you can Google porn sites all over Germany, Russia, China, ETC....because they are there on the net)...how does having this knowledge keep porn away from your computer/kids??????

Unless Bush intends on passing censorship laws banning search engines from showing whatever sites the government deems....well you fill in the blank here....they can pretty well ban whatever they want.

Is that what you want? To turn over to Bush what you/your spouse/kids/neighbors/etc allowed to see and what you aren't. (And WHO is going to distinguish what is appropriate and what isn't?)
Or would you just rather raise your kids without government assistance??? I think you know MY answer.
And >WHATEVER< the government is doing...... do you want them doing it behind a veil of secrecy??? With Patriot laws making it illegal for anyone to tell anyone else what is going on???
