He's got a point though
And it's not just Bill Gates. It's all those billionares out there.

While there donations are nice it's little more than what I'd do when I give spare change to bum on the street.

Ah but in the end those Billionares won't be able to eat thier money when that money becomes worthless. That's what happens when a small few end up with all the money. If 10% have all the money and the remaining 90% have no money they aren't spending a pretty soon having 90% of the wealth means nothing when you can't buy food.

It'd take me too long to explain it and I'm not sure I entirely understand it but there have been some very good books written on the concept. So take this a very brief summary.
