Not just big business
It isnt just the big companies, it is the very small compnaies too, that desciminate towards women. Being a Network Admin / webmaster in a small copr. owned by a man, can be very challenging as well. I am not treated like a man the men that have filled this position, I am treated as if I don't know anything and frankly i wonder how I was hired on, if the company thought my abilities did not meet their standards. My guess is after I finished restructuring the dead network, rebuilding their DB from scratch and migrating their website from one host to another in with differnt platforms and programming, that my abilities just disapeared, or maybe i filled the purpose they needed and now a less qualified monkey can take my place. It sucks being a women in the TECH industry, what was I thinking when I got all of my DEGREE's?
