No software company at this point warranties its code for anything. The majority of EULAs boil down to "If anything goes wrong, all we're out for is refunding your purchase price. Bye."

The SCO threats of suing individual or corporate users is a red herring; if some author plagiarizes another in creating a book, the injured party doesn't get to sue the people that bought the book, they sue the offending author. SCO can (and is) suing IBM claiming whatever, but they can't go after users. This would appear to be a grandstand play to force IBM to settle or buy them out - neither seems likely.

What appears will happen is SCO gets a stake through the heart, its corpse burned at a crossroad and the ashes scattered on hallowed ground to keep this particular blood-sucker from rising again.
