Wrong assumptions
This business about idemnity is a red-herring only. Why no comment on MS not imdemnifying the SQL developers from the Timeline suit? This is a much greater risk at this time than any from the use of Open Source software because Timeline has won their suit while the SCO suit is still so much smoke and mirrors. SCO has yet to produce anything with regard to the code. This is a contractual dispute that SCO is sequing into another area in the public arena unproven claims in an effort to drive up their stock.

No software vendor, commercial or oper source idemnifies their users for more than the cost of the software. Some do not even make any guarentee it will even work on your system. So why would a person need imdemnification at all?

This is a hilarious concept at best.
