Akamai.

I have no financial interest in Akamai but as an architect have recommended and implemented this solution.

Instead of worrying about more bandwidth to hop all over the Internet to deliver a file, you move your popular files to "The Edge". The Edge is the edge of the Internet which is down the street or a few blocks away. The content is cached by configuration and all the work of long-range file delivery goes away, performance improves and infrastructure costs go down.
