The point is, Chinese law is different then U.S.A. law
With China, they had two choices;

1: no Google searches in China period.
2. no Google searches in China that aren't government approved.

They went with option 2. Would you have preferred it if they went with option 1 instead?


With U.S.A. they had two choices;

1. hand over all that search data without question.
2. go to court and try to legally avoid handing over that search data.

They went with option 2. Would you have preferred it if they went with option 1 instead?
