Doomed
Another new technology bites the dust, due to greed. These
new formats are doomed to failure. What do they offer--a
better quality video? What does this cost you--buying a new
and expensive player, a new and expensive television, a new and
expensive computer and a new and expensive monitor? Are
people really going to spend $5,000 to $10,000 just to slightly
improve their picture quality? I think not.

Good to see though that the hardware manufacturers have
caught on to what the media companies have always known.
DRM is not about stopping piracy, it's about forcing people to
pay more money for your products.
